I play this with a base string/pull last 3 strings rythem. Then change it to kind of a
four count base string/pull for the instrumental and the D gets done once followed by 3 notes. First add pinky to the 6th string of the and play that, then remove it for the next note so you have the D chord again, then pick the 2nd string (3rd fret).
When Tom does this song, it’s heavily brass/percussion, so you have to carry this with your voice and make it your own. Lots of fun.
